Community Partnerships

Sirona Fuels is committed to making a positive difference in the communities it operates in both domestically and abroad. This will be accomplished by the Sirona team, which includes both Sirona Fuels and the Sirona Cares foundation. For Sirona Fuels, this means producing a fuel with the most environmentally responsible profile on the market. It also means empowering rural farmers to lift their living standards and environment through productive enterprise. For Sirona Cares, this means enhancing the impact of the business enterprises by making charitable contributions that directly change the lives of those in our communities. All of this is accomplished through cooperation with local community leaders.

Many international organizations have been engaged in similar efforts for years and have the common goal of combating poverty wherever it occurs. Sirona is partnering with a number of these organizations to help their efforts and benefit from their expertise and local knowledge. Together we can achieve more than either can individually. The Sirona Cares Foundation

The Sirona Cares Foundation's mission is to build sustainable communities. For Sirona Cares, this means taking care of children and building an economic base that provides jobs for those children when they mature. Currently, Sirona Cares is active in Haiti, working on rebuilding schools, developing biofuel farming projects and bringing electricity to rural parts of Haiti.

The Global Orphan Project

The Global Orphan Project catalyzes action to transform the lives of orphans, now and for eternity. It does so by planting children’s homes within existing local churches / community hubs. This results in physical, emotional, educational and spiritual transformation of orphans around the world. Sirona is currently working with the Global Orphan Project in Haiti and is looking to expand to other regions served by the organization.

Sirona Fuels is involved in a number of programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company encourages local agencies, restaurants and businesses involved in reducing air emissions, specifically in school buses. Clean Air Partners are organizations committed to creating local opportunities for green collar jobs and that support the Biofuels4schools, Clean Air for Kids campaign. Clean Air Partners are people making choices that affect the air we breathe.

Sirona Cares for Schools

The Sirona Cares for Schools program is designed to build a new way for businesses to support local schools. Under this program, businesses that recycle their used cooking oil with Sirona Fuels cause grants to be funded that support schools and other organizations that support children's education.
